Komic
Komic is a native comic, manga, webtoon, manhwa, and EPUB reader for iPhone and iPad with built-in Kavita support.
Installation
- Download Komic from the App Store.
- Open the app and follow the onboarding instructions to add a Kavita server.
Setup
To connect Komic to your Kavita instance you’ll need an API key.
Get your API key
- Sign in to your Kavita server in a web browser.
- Open your User Settings.
- Switch to the Auth Keys / OPDS tab.
- Copy one of the existing keys, or create a new key for Komic if you prefer.
Configure the source
- In Komic, enter your Kavita server URL (for example
https://my.server:5000) and API key from step 4 above. - Komic will verify the connection and save the source for browsing and reading.
⚠️
iOS requires HTTPS for remote connections. That means if you want to access your Kavita instance remotely you need to setup a reverse proxy and use SSL.
Pricing
Komic is free to download, and you can connect to your Kavita server and read your library for free.
